At Divine Feline Scotland, most of the cats we groom come to us because they need help for their health and comfort - tackling matting, maintaining coat condition, or supporting their wellbeing through gentle, stress-free grooming. But every so often, we’re lucky enough to care for some real show stars too - cats who not only look incredible but shine on the big stage.
One of these little superstars is Izzy, a stunning Blue-Cream British Shorthair.
Last month brought an incredible moment of pride for us at Divine Feline when Izzy was awarded the Olympian title at the Scottish Rex Show!
The judge’s words captured her beauty perfectly
“Now over 6 years old, a gorgeous blue-cream shorthaired lady, immaculately presented. Her lovely soft, short coat shows such pretty pastel shades of blue and cream, all very attractively intermingled. She has beautiful big, soulful eyes and cute little ears. She is a fit, strong, muscular feeling lady who is still quintessentially feminine. A very gentle soul who enjoyed her cuddles. Olympian awarded with pleasure.”
Where health meets beauty
Izzy’s immaculate presentation is something we’re especially proud of. Since Izzy began her grooming journey with us, judges at every show have commented on just how beautifully groomed she looks. Her mum often tells us how much of a difference it has made, and hearing the judge highlight it again in this latest critique makes our hearts swell with pride.
To see her recognised at such a high level is beyond special. The Olympian class is no small feat - it represents the very best of the best in household pets, and Izzy has absolutely earned her place among them.
We couldn’t be prouder of this lovely girl and her devoted mum. Congratulations, Izzy - our Olympian Queen!
