It started with a girl who loved her cat… And it changed the lives of them all.

Built from the heart For the cats who need it most
We’ve always believed that cats deserve to be treated with the same respect and kindness they so often give on their terms. They’re sensitive, smart, and deeply emotional beings - and in the wrong hands, grooming can be scary. That’s why we created something different. Something better. Something just for them.
Our approach is called minimal-touch grooming, and it’s built entirely around trust. No scruffing. No muzzles. No wrestling matches. Just soft hands, calm voices, and the patience to truly listen to what each cat is telling us. Our specially developed zero-restraint technique has allowed us to gently groom cats that others believed couldn’t be groomed at all and helped them feel safe in the process .
It might take longer. It might look a little unconventional. But it works. We’ve seen once-fearful, “impossible-to-groom” cats slowly blossom into calm, confident floofs who feel safe in our care.
We’ve poured our hearts into this method, and we’re proud to say it’s helped thousands of cats feel peace where there used to be fear. To us, that’s everything.
Because at the end of the day, we’re not just groomers. We’re cat lovers on a mission to make the world a gentler place - one paw at a time.
We never sedate cats. Ever.
Cats have extremely fragile hearts and having them sedated or put under general anaesthetic should always be carefully considered beforehand.
Other factors which may impact a cat’s ability to tolerate sedation include:Obesity, Genetic Conditions, Breed, Age, Diet and many more.
We don't believe that it is worth taking this risk multiple times a year to meet a cat’s basic needs, which is why we never sedate any cats that we groom. Instead, we take our time getting to know every individual cat and what their boundaries are. Throughout the groom we monitor the cat’s vitals and behavioural cues (such as dilating pupils and panting) to recognise stressors and can alter our technique accordingly.
Most cats are defensive during grooming which is often mistaken as aggression, so gentle and repetitive techniques to ease their anxiety can be exactly what they need to settle them for a groom.
So how did we get on this crazy train you ask? Funny Story actually…
When Liam proposed to Darcy there was one thing he had to accept. His lifelong dream of owning a cat would never come true, as Darcy was terrified of them (they get a bad rep!)
However, this feeling of eternal doom didn’t last long - as he came home a week later with the smallest little ginger kitten who stole her heart!
A few months passed and little Theo began to get quite knotted, regardless of how much we brushed him…
So the solution was easy, right? We will take him to a cat groomer. Haha, how little we knew back then!
Hours of searching turned into days, then weeks… So we spoke to a vet for some advice. This is when we learned that in the UK it is common practice to have your cat anaesthetised to shave matts off them, without doing anything to prevent it happening again. I was absolutely shocked to hear that this is the only level of basic care offered to our beloved pets. Something had to change.
THERE WAS ONLY ONE SOLUTION: WE WOULD TRAIN TO DO IT OURSELVES!
We completed multiple courses and carried out our own extensive research to determine ways of grooming our cats to keep them comfortable, prevent matting, not cause them stress and to overall increase our bond with them.
It then dawned on us that if we are in this position, how many other cat owners are going through the same experience with no one to turn to?
So we decided to offer our help to the community and we never looked back.
We are so passionate about this job because we have saw how it affected our own cats, we take so much pride in helping them live happily and healthily. Every single cat we meet has a special spot in our heart for life❤️
ALAS, DIVINE FELINE WAS BORN
Since starting our business our family has gained lots more little paws.
We now are mum and dad to four little furry terrors (and one not so furry!)
We also have worked with various charities fostering & rehoming cats in need, raising kittens and fundraising.
We have began teaching cat care masterclasses all over the UK and are proud to have put cat grooming on the map as a vital service in Scotland!
